On The Flipside has exclusive coverage of the Grand Opening of San Francisco 49ers Vernon Davis’ Gallery 85 at Santana Row. The star-studded event was well attended and proceeds from the gallery will benefit the Vernon Davis Foundation for the Arts! The Oakland and LA Raiderettes celebrated their 50th Anniversary of cheering for the NFL’s Raiders and On The Flipside was there for the festivities! On The Flipside talks to action sports personality Sal Masekela for a preview of the 2012 Nike US Open of Surfing going down in Huntington Beach, CA. This year marks its first ever national broadcast and will air on NBC.

First held in 1959, the US Open of Surfing held in Huntington Beach, CA has become the biggest stage in competitive professional surfing, attracting the most elite male and female athletes in the sport from around the globe to a weeklong battle for the coveted US Open of Surfing title, and is a pivotal point toward the Association of Surfing Professional World Tour.

On The Flipside teamed up with Bay Tiger Video Productions for “Take The Corner Back,” a football camp hosted by The Donald Strickland Foundation. The day long event took place in San Francisco at Candlestick Park and welcomed kids and youth with special health care needs or disabilities to take part in the festivities featuring NFL players Donald Strickland, Dwight Lowery and Ashlie Lelie!

Dwyane Wade goes Hollywood with a cameo appearance in the new star-studded flick “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.” The Miami HEAT superstar is not only heating it up on the hardwood for the 2012 NBA playoffs, but he’s also debuting his dance moves on the silver screen alongside movie stars Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison! DWade plays himself in the film as a contestant on “Celebrity Dance Factor” …think “Dancing With The Stars.” And — not only does he shake his money maker, he dares to bare his physique..but you’ll have to see that in theaters! On The Flipside, he explains he wasn’t “psyched” about the role at first, and what it was like working with Ms. Diaz!

A very special episode 34 is coming to you from San Jose State University, where host Aubrey Aquino is attending the “We Believe vs. Dubs” charity reunion basketball game. Current and former members of the Golden State Warriors are matching up at the SJSU Events Center in a… young guys take on the vets type match-up, where proceeds benefit Athletes vs. Cancer. The “We Believe” team is headed up by Los Angeles Laker Matt Barnes, along with fellow NBA teammates Jason Richardson, Antawn Jamison, Corey Maggette, Gilbert Arenas, CJ Watson, Al Harrington, Anthony Morrow and Ike Diagu while the “Dubs” are lead by current Warriors, Stephen Curry, Dorell Wright, Jeremy Lin, Louis Admunson, Charlie Bell, Jeremy Tyler and more. And while Baron Davis didn’t play, he made a cameo and greeted the Bay Area fans….as did current Warrior Ekpe Udoh, who also sat it out, but did get up to show the crowd he knows how to “Dougie!”

Then, it’s off to London, England where Aubrey Aquino is pulling double duty as Virgin Atlantic’s Red Hot Reporter for the 2011 NFL International Series game at Wembley Stadium where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting the Chicago Bears. First stop is the Pennyhill Park Hotel in the English “countryside” where the Bucs have set up there UK Headquarters! OTF talks to Donald Penn, Adam Hayward and Ronde Barber as they talk about the British Hospitality. Then, it’s off to The Oval, a world famous cricket club, to catch up with the Chicago Bears at practice. OTF talks to Charles Tillman as he along with teammates Brian Urlacher, Matt Forte and Lance Briggs, all take a crack at cricket. Finally, On The Flipside heads to Trafalgar Square for the NFL Fan Rally where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders are the main attraction!
