It’s a special Sideline Distraction show to kick off 2010 On The Flipside! This exclusive edition features a pair of California women cheering on the sidelines of the AFC West. Host Aubrey Aquino anchors this episode from the Berkeley Marina in Northern California, where we begin with a segment on Oakland Raiderette Emily. Emily is a veteran Raiderette and line captain who upholds the law on her flipside! When she’s not donning the silver and black to cheer on the Raider Nation, she’s in court working as a criminal law attorney, and most people would never guess she can also be found cruising around the Bay Area in her very own Ford Mustang Mach 1.

After that we head south to San Diego to meet San Diego Charger Girl Marlina. Marlina represented the San Diego Chargers at the 2009 Pro Bowl in Hawaii and has also been leading her line on the field this season. On The Flipside, she is a successful businesswoman, founding and running her own “green” cleaning company. Fans may also be surprised to learn that she grew up on a farm, so she has a passion for animal rights and looks forward to one day starting her own animal rescue foundation.

For the final episode of 2009, On The Flipside host Aubrey Aquino is in Oakland at Lake Merritt. First up, is a special feature on actress and comedienne Anjelah Johnson. She’s a Bay Area native and former Oakland Raiderette who’s got rising celeb status in Hollywood! Anjelah’s popular comedy sketches for Bon Qui Qui and the Nail Salon have gained her worldwide attention, plus she has a 1-hour Comedy Central special on the way. On The Flipside she talks about her experience cheering on the Raider Nation! Then it’s time for The Jason Taylor Foundation’s annual Ping Pong Smash. Every year the Miami Dolphins defensive end hosts the table tennis tournament with his celeb pals and teammates, like Joey Porter, Channing Crowder, DJ Irie and more,  to benefit children in the South Florida community.

Plus, we head down to the American Airlines Arena where the Miami HEAT dancers stop traffic to unveil their brand new dancers poster and magazine! And finally, we take a look back at the first year for On The Flipside with a video montage of some of the shows most memorable moments to date! Check out the all-star roster of stars, events and features in 2009.

Host Aubrey Aquino keeps things rolling On The Flipside with episode 17 from the Las Olas Riverfront in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Miami HEAT All-Star Dwyane Wade kicks off the show as he makes a special guest appearance at Miami Norland Senior High School. The Jordan Brand selected that school and those students because of their participation in Jordan Fundamentals, and On The Flipside has the highlights when DWade hosted their all-school pep rally. Then we head to the Big Apple to grab a bite with New York Giants Wide Receiver Steve Smith. He lets us into his home and dishes about the “Fresh Diet.”

After that, we meet up with New York Jets Receiver David Clowney at CAVI NYC’s headquarters where we talk tattoos! He shows us some of his body art and tells us about the meaning behind them. Finally, we land on the West Coast for this edition’s Sideline Distraction, Oakland Raiderette Jennie, who is a first year member cheering on the Silver and Black of the Raider Nation as one of Football’s Fabulous Females.

On The Flipside celebrates its SWEET SIXTEEN episode in the Big Apple! Aubrey Aquino hosts the show from a downtown New York City fire escape to bring you four “flipside” features. This edition starts of with New York Giants Danny Clark and his Smart Car! The NFL Linebacker shows us his eco-friendly, fixed up whip and tells us why his new nickname is the “green giant.” Next we’ve got the trailer for Toronto Raptors Chris Bosh’s new documentary film First Ink (being released on DVD this month), where the NBA veteran gives fans an intimate look at his life in basketball!

Then we hit the gym with California Figure Champ Mona Liza Reyes, who’s working it out for Go Team Mo! She talks about her passion for people and how she’s training the hip hop community to take it to the next level, starting with Jonathan “Bionic” Bayani of  the San Francisco dance crew Supreme Soul. Finally, we wrap the show up in Washington D.C. where the Wizards Dancers unveil their new swimsuit calendar!
